Crystals from the Lawrence Hall of Science, 2014

Way Back When

Where I've Been

Vision Board I created during a wellness weekend, 2017

Take some baby crystals with you everywhere you go

Growing up, I've always been interested in the sciences. I've grown up watching countless documentaries about the stars and the planets. It was actually on a trip to the Lawrence Hall of Science at the age of 9 where I got my very first crystals. It was one of those display boxes with about 20 different types of crystals inside, both as raw and polished little tumbles. I grew fascinated with the stones and found my self collecting little pouches of crystals they sell at gift shops every time I went on family vacations. I even tried excavating the quartz crystals out of the asphalt while out at recess. Looking back, I just now realized that I was always around crystals. Over the years, I've been gifted with jade, obsidian, and amethyst jewelry from family members-which I wore daily; I even gifted my best friends with rose quartz bangles right before we set off to college; and I remember seeing all the jade Buddhas, elephants, and frogs scattered around the houses of all my relatives and friends.

I don't have some crazy back story to how I got interested into crystals, nor am I the most philosophical person you will ever meet, but my passion and drive is real. It wasn't until recently when I got into using crystals for their healing properties. My sister had actually been into using them for a while, but I hadn't really felt that draw until a trip to Palm Springs, where my sister took me (and our cousins) to a local crystal shop. At first, I was only browsing, but she encouraged me to get what I felt drawn to. I left the shop with yet another little pouch filled with little tumbles (amethyst, citrine, blue lace agate, crazy lace agate, amazonite, prasiolite, rose quartz, and clear quartz). Upon return from our trip, I looked up all of the metaphysical properties of the stones, paid attention to how they made me feel and I simply got hooked. A couple weeks after that trip, I had a wellness weekend getaway with my college girlfriends where we shared our favorite wellness and healing practices. I brought my crystals. Since then, I have been on a mission to better myself physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually.

Come on a  journey with me to become the best you

Crystal Healer Certification from the Love & Light School of Crystal Therapy, 2020

I am constantly using crystals. I wear/carry crystals with me everywhere I go, sleep with a little pouch of them under my pillow, my nightstand is full of them, and my house looking like a crystal museum. My addiction grew so tremendously, that I created Crystals of the Cosmos in September 2019, as a way to share my crystal knowledge with others, the passion that I have and belief of their metaphysical properties, and as part of my mission to create a better, happier, healthier me. Since then, I have received my Crystal Healer Certification from the Love & Light School of Crystal Therapy and I am currently working on my Advanced Crystal Practitioner Certification from the same institution. I've been partnering up with other entrepreneurs who share similar interests in the healing energies provided by the crystals, buy tons and tons of spiritual awakening, astrology, crystal, and self help related books, attended as many crystal fairs as I could (before Covid) and I just finished a series on how to Feng Shui your home with crystals to promote optimal function of life force energy.

I am on a constant journey to better myself. I am not perfect and I have a long way to go to reach my ideal self. I want to become a more balanced individual, bringing together all aspects of my being to fulfill my mission. Get back into hiking. It definitely was so soothing being surrounded by nature. I want to get into yoga for my physical and mental health. Attend spiritual retreats. Become a minimalist, not worrying about whats "in" or "cool" to fit into today's society, gain financial freedom to continue to do the things I love, not let the little things bother me, meditate more and take control of my emotions, and continue to be there for the people I love. I want to help you all, my new crystal family, learn why I do what I do, how I do it, and to be a part of this amazing journey with me. I want to help you to better understand yourself and how to create your ultimate self.

If you have any tips, ideas or know of any fun activities or events that can help me and the rest of our crystal family, please share it on our member's page.

I look forward to seeing you all grow into your best self.
